About the event
Over the past few years, Lake Deaton United Methodist Church has developed an impressive number of “Care Ministries” that have been led and by a wonderful team of individuals who exhibit the love to God to our congregation. We have a team of Stephen Ministers who are highly trained to deliver specialized care when needed, the best Sonrise Respite Care in the area, and an extensive program of prayer and visitation. However, it should be no surprise to anyone that with a large church congregation made up entirely of senior citizens, the care needs of this church are much more extensive than most churches of the same size. This led the pastors to look around for successful examples of how we could expand “Care” with the resources we have available.
