Christmas in August - Residing Hope
Lake Deaton family,
We are currently seeking toy donations for Residing Hope’s “Christmas in August” event, which will bless approximately 80 children and youth, ages 7–17. These gifts are not only a source of joy, but also play an important role in the organization’s reward point system—encouraging positive behavior, personal growth, and achievement among the children they serve.
Residing Hope holds a deeply meaningful legacy. One inspiring example is Debbie Collins, who began her journey with Residing Hope as a 12-year-old resident. After experiencing firsthand the impact of this ministry, she devoted 47 years of her life to serving others through the organization, most recently retiring as Vice President of Campus Operations. Her story is a powerful testament to the life-changing influence of care, compassion, and community support. By donating new toys and gifts, you are helping continue that legacy—bringing hope, encouragement, and tangible reminders to these children that they are seen, valued, and loved. Your generosity can make a lasting difference in their lives.
