Melanie comes from decades of retail experience including years of managing non profits which have satiated her service oriented soul.  She holds business degrees as well as a place in her heart for the businesses that remember they are fueled and financed by the people they serve.  She was attracted to Lake Deaton for their encompassing spirit and their drive to reach into the community they are surrounded by and hopes to make Coleman Oaks a hub for not just its neighbors but for all the ministries serving them.
