Medical Emergency Response Training
When a medical emergency happens, knowing what to do—and how to work together—can make an important difference. On Tuesday, September 22 at 2:00pm in the CLC, we will offer a Medical Emergency Response Training, facilitated by Paula Labonte. We will walk through how to respond to an emergency, call for help, assist first responders, locate and use our emergency resources, and understand the roles each of us may have when an emergency occurs.
We especially invite staff, First Impressions volunteers (Greeters and Connections), ushers, Coleman Oaks Thrift Store volunteers, and anyone willing to be a helping hand in an emergency. You do not need medical experience, just a willingness to learn how we can care for one another calmly, safely, and effectively when help is needed.
