"Scalia/Ginsburg: Harmony and Discourse"

"Scalia/Ginsburg" is an opera that celebrates the unlikely friendship between Supreme Court Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Antonin Scalia. This particular performance/panel discussion event was created especially for the Beacon Salon Speaker Series and features arias by Opera del Sol’s original cast: Alex Mansoori, Jacquelyn Pileckas, and Kenneth Nisbett. Following each aria, directors David Bracamonte, McKenzie Pollock, and Philip King will discuss the music's impact on our communities in a panel discussion. Bracamonte notes the opera's playful and thought-provoking nature, highlighting its balance of silliness and intellectually stimulating text.

Each ticket includes a free meal (vegetarian and gluten-free options available). Meal service begins at 6:00 p.m. Speaker presentation begins at 7:00 p.m.
