Zoe Empowers - A Ministry with Orphans in India
Through the ministry ZOE Empowers, Lake Deaton sponsors 3 Empowerment Groups in Vizag, India. First, Shining Stars includes about 85 children from ages 12-20 divided into 32 households with many younger children living with them. Then, we also co-sponsor two other Empowerment Groups: Unbeatables with Community U.M. Church, and Life Creators with Tuscawilla U.M. Church.
Zoe reaches out in love to orphans and all vulnerable children and those wishing to partner with them, regardless of their belief, so they may experience the love of God with physical, social, psychological, and spiritual healing. Self-sustainability is a primary goal for ZOE , “helping children never need charity again.”

Congo Partnership
Lake Deaton, through retired Global Ministries Missionaries Donna & Jonathan Baker and the Congo Partnership, provides support for agriculture and nutrition programs and the digging of freshwater wells in the remote poverty-stricken areas of central Congo. Click here for more information
Operations Christmas Child (OCC)
Collecting toys and school supplies and toiletries for children around the world in need through Samaritan’s Purse. This collection begins in October so that the children can receive the boxes by Christmas.
