Single – Solo Social Event Meet and Greet Potluck SNACK

Single – Solo Social Event Meet and Greet Potluck SNACK will be on Thursday August 22nd, at the Lake Deaton UMC, in Rooms 5 & 6.

This will be a Meet and Greet Potluck Snack Social. It will start at 5:00 but we suggest you start coming a bit before.

There will be a sign-up at the connect desk soon to add your name and info.

Or you can also send Cindy or me an email letting us know if you will be attending. We will be able to seat up to 36 members.

We ask everyone to bring some type of snack to share. There will be water available & you can bring your own beverage.

Please wear a name tag, because I would like each one of us to introduce ourselves to our membership in attendance so you will be able to connect with each other and meet new friends.

There will be a prayer and hopefully some great conversations. Since our last event we now have a total of 9 on the committee. We just had our 1st committee meeting and there were a lot of ideas that came up. We will have a sheet with different items for the group to check off on to see our future events either in house at the church or doing things outside the church.

The church is also having events coming up from September to December, we all can attend those events also. You will see them advertised by the church. The new dinner cost at those events will be $12 each, unless you need to have a special diet you can bring your own meal with you.  Depending how many are interested in going to any of those events let us know also because we can have some tables reserved for our group.

Our committee wants to thank you all for joining so we can continue to be active throughout the year with your participation.
