Lake Deaton will host the Villages Swing Band on Sunday, 2/22 at 4:00pm. come and enjoy a spirited 19 piece resident big band under the direction of Lew Buckley. The group plays songs from the swing era as well as some songs from The 1950’s and 1960’s.

The annual Seeds of Hope concert season for monetary and food donations for the Wildwood Food Pantry and the Wildwood Soup Kitchen starts Feb 5 with a 7:00 concert at New Covenant UMC. Lake Deaton will host the Villages Swing Band on Sunday, 2/22 at 4:00pm.
Seeds of Hope was created to raise funds and food donations and to bring awareness to the food needs of the surrounding area. These needs have grown over the years in Sumter county. Seeds of Hope relies on the generosity of individuals, churches, businesses and civic organizations. One hundred percent of donations go to the needy families and individuals through the Wildwood Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry. Both the Soup Kitchen and the Food Pantry serve food insecure families in the Sumter County area.
