About the event
Operation Christmas Child: Share Joy. Give Hope. Change a Life.
KICK-OFF: October 17 & 18!
One of Lake Deaton UMC’s most meaningful outreach ministries is Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan's Purse.
Every year, shoeboxes filled with small gifts, school supplies and personal care items are delivered to children around the world who may otherwise receive no Christmas gift at all. But these boxes are about more than presents—they are an opportunity to share God’s love and the Good News of Jesus Christ. Each child also receives The Greatest Journey, which teaches them about Jesus and helps them begin a journey of faith.
