Red Cedar Chamber Music is your ticket to travel! This concert program culminates a three-year project commissioning new works inspired by global folk music. Violinist Miera Kim and cellist Carey Bostian will perform and discuss various pieces, including Royden Tse's "Dà Xi," inspired by Cantonese Opera, and Wajdi Abou Diab's "Zèjèl," a virtuosic celebration of the ancient strophic tradition of Middle Eastern spoken poetry.
