Let’s join together this Advent Season for a Special Devotional!

Advent is a season to prepare our hearts, minds, and souls for the coming of Christ. Let’s ensure we don’t rush through this special time this year. Let’s slow down and enjoy our time together. This year, Lake Deaton UMC and Edison UMC will partner together for Stories of Christmas Past: An Advent Devotional.

 

Each day during Advent, starting on Sunday, December 1, you will receive an email devotion directly in your email inbox. Each devotion is written by either a staff person or a congregation member.

Along with the devotion, you will have some scripture to read, a few discussion questions to consider on your own, with a loved one, or even with your small group, and a prayer for the day. Our prayer is that this Advent Devotional is a blessing to you as you prepare for the coming of Christ.
