  • Christmas at the Lake

    Come Join us for our first "Christmas at the Lake" fun for the whole family! There will be crafters, homemade chilli, hot dogs, homemade baked goods, gourmet coffee and homemade brownies with ice cream. A special section for the children with lots of crafts, a visit with Santa and a few more surprises. No need to sign up, just come through and enjoy the festivities!

  • Bloom Ladies Christmas Luncheon

         Join us for our Bloom Christmas Holiday Event!  Madrigals and Guys, an a capella choir, Renaissance and Beyond, will be the entertainment.   Lunch will be a turkey dinner with all the trimmings.  A table hostess will decorate the table and provide a Christmas place setting for you.  Please bring a wrapped gift of $5, or under, to share.   • Coffee with the Pastors

         This class is an opportunity to meet our pastors, learn more about our church, our mission, vision and values, and about our expectations for members. At the end of the time, an opportunity will be given for participants to sign up to join the church. Our next class will be held on Tuesday, January 24th at 3:00 p.m.

  • MOAMI - Moving On After Moving In

         MOAMI is a seven-week, Christian-based program for women who are or have experienced a transition in life (a move, loss of a loved one, retirement, etc.) and are seeking new friendships and a renewed sense of hope and purpose. Registration is now open for the Spring 2023 session which will run January 31st - March 14th from 1:00pm - 3:00pm. The fee will be $30 and includes all materials and a magnetic name tag. The class is limited to the first 33 registrants, so register early to ensure a seat in the class.   • Join Pastor Jim on the Holy Land Classic Tour

    Join Pastor Jim on Tuesday, December 13 at 3pm for an informational meeting about the Holy Land trip.

    You are invited to join Pastor Jim on this Holy Land Class Program that will expand our knowledge of the Bible and this sacred land. A journey following in the footsteps of Jesus will change the way you read the Bible. Consider being part of this adventure in faith and join him in experiencing a once in a lifetime journey as we walk where Jesus walked. March 14-23, 2023.

  • Bloom Book Club

         Join us on the fourth Monday of each month from 1:00 to 3:00pm. We are reading "A Lineage of Grace - Five Stories of Unlikely Women" over the next five months. There will be no meeting in December as the 4th Monday is the day after Christmas and the church will be closed.

    On January 23 from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. in CLR 1 we will continue our discussion of the book, A Lineage of Grace by Francis Rivers. We will be discussing Ruth, the third section of the book. The story is based on Ruth 1:1-4. On February 27, we will discuss the 4th section of the book, the story of Bathsheba.

    We will finish up this book on March 27 by discussing Mary. I’m looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible. I know that some of you are away, or will have company, or have other commitments, so join us when you can.  As always, feel free to invite a friend or forward this information to anyone who enjoys reading Biblical fiction.   • Zoom Prayer Group

         This is your opportunity to join Zoom Prayer Meetings on Thursdays at 3:00pm.

    One of the ways we can put Christ’s Love in Action is through prayer. To help us accomplish that more fully, we have added a zoom virtual prayer meeting to the other ways we seek to help people experience the presence of Christ in their lives. Our prayer ministry works to minister in healing prayer through weekly prayer services, prayer after worship services, classes on praying for the sick, and one-on-one prayer sessions.   • Sunday School - The Wired Word

         This class provides the opportunity for discussion of current world events and how we, as Christians, can relate issues to scriptural teachings. Class members should be open to discussing current issues with respect for different opinions. Willing class members may rotate leading the lesson each week for discussion.  All materials are provided to the class - no homework, just some lesson prep by the week's class leader.

  • Community Bible Study

         Come see what happens in people's lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible. Our class has women and men small groups, meet weekly on Wednesday morning at 10:00 AM in person, and we offer virtual classes for those unable to meet with us locally in person.

         For 2022-2023, we are studying the Old Testament in the books of Exodus, Leviticus, and Numbers, that tell the story of how God delivered His chosen people, the Israelites, from Egyptian slavery and established them as a new nation.
