In January and February, we offer special large group lecture style classes with meals.

Late February, March, and April is when we host our Spring Semester of classes.  Classes are offered from 3:30-5:00 and 6:00-7:30.  A fellowship meal is offered from 5:00 to 6:00.

September, October and November brings us to our Fall Semester, which follows the same schedule as our Spring Semester.  We always end the year with a break in December.

Other Classes

To add variety to our selection of classes, we also offer classes outside of our Grow Night Programing.  We encourage you to find the classes that work best for you!

Special Studies

Our special studies are daily studies that are housed on a separate website.  The studies contain a daily Bible reading, message from one of our pastors, a video message, questions to think about and a daily challenge.  To help you stay engaged with the study, you will also get a daily email reminder to visit the website, as a gentle reminder to keep you on track.

Our next special study will be our Advent Study. View our past devotional studies here.

Lake Deaton Grows Website

This site is a place for friends of Lake Deaton to grow in their faith life. You will find blogs from the pastors on this site, special studies, devotionals and online classes on this site. This site is also the home to our Sobremesa Cafe. Sobremesa Cafe is a place to connect, learn and to grow a Sobremesa Dinner Group. Our hope is that you find these resources easy to use and helpful.

Walk to Emmaus

The Walk to Emmaus is an experience of Christian spiritual renewal and formation that begins with a three-day short course in Christianity. It is an opportunity to meet Jesus Christ in a new way, as God’s grace and love is revealed to you through other believers.

The objective of Emmaus is to inspire, challenge, and equip the local church members for Christian action in their homes, churches, communities and places of work.  Emmaus lifts up a way for our grace-filled lives to be lived and shared with others.
